Van Halen on Dr. Phil

A fake article on a real news site?

Satire?

Wikipedia sez:
Although satire is usually witty, and often very funny, the purpose of satire is not primarily humour but criticism of an event, an individual or a group in a clever manner.
Who's being criticized here? I just see a bunch of stupid jokes. I'm tired of people misusing literary styles in inappropriately light-hearted ways. And if you're going to do it, don't include a disclaimer in the first paragraph that says it's not real.

If you want to satirize Van Halen or Dr. Phil, then do it. Don't write a lame article that says, "Ha ha, aren't these guys crazy and full of themselves? Ha ha look at me poke fun."

Do it like this.
