I bought this watermelon bubble gum that was the best gum I have ever tasted. The flavor lasted about 10 seconds.

Click above to listen. Click here to read.

Can't get these on iTunes, folks. Highlights: "The Big Royalty Check", "Ring Worm", "Want A Danish", any track where he rambles on about getting "sixteen guitars and Herbie Lovelle to play drums"

In other news: the Nashville show at the Ryman coincides with the release of Pay the Devil on Lost Highway. Check out that cover art - you can see images of Nashville all along the bottom! I drive by that stuff a lot!

I like writing letters to people. Almost as much as I like receiving letters from people. If you would like to "get in on this" (in the parlance of our times) then send me your address in an e-mail. Most people reading this should have my e-mail address, but if you don't (you cyberstalker, you!) then you can send it here.

If I don't know a lot about you then you should include a link to a profile or something similar, unless you don't mind getting a letter that's just me rambling on about life and maybe quoting some Smiths lyrics. I'd like to at least be able to ask how school is going or what your felony conviction was for or whatever.

I declare this post to be entirely too rich in vitamin "then". So what?

Look what I won.

Thanks for the gesture (fate or whoever), but it doesn't quite remove the collective sting of the previous entries.

Strike three - The Strokes are sold out.

Meanwhile, a certain someone who gets the chance to see Wilco at the frigging Moon (which incidentally is not sold out yet) better go do it. And take pictures. And use press credentials to get backstage, even if it's just to steal some cheese from a snack tray or something.

Uhh, I'm going to email a rep this week to try to get an interview with Wilco! Friggin yeah!

And I'm going to that festival March 11-12 in Sunrise, FL (Langerado), so I'm going to see them twice in two days or something.

I've never asked for a press pass. Maybe if I get a response I will. Ha.

Breakfast at Tiffany's was one of the first Audrey Hepburn films to the released to the home video market in the early 1980s, and is also widely available on DVD. On February 7, 2006, Paramount will be releasing a 45th anniversary special edition DVD set in North America with featurettes not included on the prior DVD release. These include a commentary track by producer Richard Shepherd (in which he repeatedly apologizes for allowing Mickey Rooney to be cast as a Japanese man), a tribute to Audrey Hepburn, a brief history of Tiffany & Co., and Audrey Hepburn's letter to Tiffany & Co. on the occassion of the company's 150th anniversary in 1987.

I just had some split pea soup. Besides being delicious, I poured it out in two segments, and I didn't realize until I poured out the second part that all of the peas and potatoes had sunk to the bottom of the can. It was like eating two different types of delicious soup.

I'm going to watch the Last Waltz and then go eat some more - this time at an Italian restaurant where Caleb is playing the jazz music.

I've had split pea soup on teo separate occasions. The first time I loved it and the second time I hated it.

Here's something I don't understand. I just hope it isn't obscene.

And since I didn't watch the State of the whatever thing, I'll do my part and link to some guy's review of it.
