Several weird things happened to me today. First of all, I went to the gym for the fourth day in a row. Secondly, this Rob Thomas song comes on and I don't even recognize his voice without all that Matchbox Twenty gravel in it. But the track just bumps ... man, I don't know what's wrong with me, why I like this song so much, but I do. I've always thought he was a good songwriter, but man! "What if we were symphonies?" Dumbest line ever. Coolest line ever. This is what pop is supposed to be.

Then, tonight, "12 Monkeys" comes on TV. That movie is nuts. Lots of great stuff going on. And, as always, IMDB delivers with trivia and even a recommendation. Something tells me I'm going to be watching a lot of Terry Gilliam movies in the near future.

I love the bongos(I think they're bongos) at the beginning of "Lonely No More". That's a great song. I like his newest song, "This is how a heart breaks" too. I'm surprised you hadn't heard it earlier. oh wait, you don't listen to top 40 stations.

I'm always slightly surprised when that song comes on and I realize each time that it's Rob Thomas. I still listen to You or someone like you from time to time.

I've heard about Terry Gilliam, man. Brazil. That other one. Yeah, I saw parts of 12 Monkeys once. Wanna see his new one: The Brothers Grimm.
